The 'Raw Beauty' project is an artistic exploration of fruits and vegetables in their natural, unprocessed state. The freezing of the fruits and vegetables sustaining their life and longevity and reinforces their forms and shapes. Through carefully composed analogue photography, it reveals the striking visual textures and forms hidden within everyday produce. Each subject is treated with a minimalist aesthetic, allowing its inherent splendour to shine. The usage of analogue photography echoes the organic form of the vegetables and fruits. In keeping with the theme of natural simplicity and sustainability, the photographs are developed using common household ingredients like coffee, baking soda and vitamin C.
Frozen in time, these everyday fruits and vegetables transformed into works of art. Their imperfections celebrated, uniqueness uncovered. An ode to the elegance in simplicity. Let's preserve the beauty of food by saving it.
